Job Title: Mortgage Advisor

Remuneration:
- Competitive Basic: £27,000 – £31,000

Overview: Join a well-known estate agency as an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker. You’ll provide mortgage and protection advice from a bustling office in Westcliff-on-Sea, dealing with mortgages up to £1.7m and an average property value of £350k. The Mortgage and Protection Broker is expected to bank £140k – £160k, presenting an earnings potential of £70,000 – £80,000.
Main Duties: In this excellent role, you’ll work from one of the UK’s best-known estate agency brands. As an experienced Mortgage Advisor, you’ll collaborate with a financially incentivized team of estate agency staff, receiving new mortgage leads daily. You’ll also have complete access to the existing client database, enabling you to offer remortgage services.
This busy Westcliff-on-Sea branch requires a proactive individual to work alongside introducers. You’ll contact existing clients for reviews of their current mortgage and protection policies, alongside handling fresh leads daily.
You’ll be covering the busy branch, working with a sales-focused team of negotiators, offering regulated advice on mortgages and associated protection products. Not only will you receive fresh leads regularly, but you’ll also have access to the company’s database of existing clients, along with numerous mortgage products and competitive protection policies.
Expect 8 first appointments per week, with the goal of writing 2 mortgages. The average case size is £2,500, allowing you to bank over £220,000 and earn £90,000 plus.
Key Skills: To excel in this role as the sole Mortgage Advisor, Broker, or Adviser in the Westcliff-on-Sea branch, you must have:
- Excellent knowledge of mortgages and various products
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent)
Applications will be considered from experienced individuals from tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environments if they can demonstrate a strong track record in mortgage sales. Possession of the CeMAP, CF6, or MAQ qualification along with CAS is a plus.
