Main Responsibilities: This golden opportunity awaits an enthusiastic Trainee Mortgage Advisor. While you’re building your career, you’ll join one of the UK’s most recognized estate agency brands, working from an energetic St. Neots office in Cambridgeshire. Your role involves:
- Learning from experienced mentors.
- Collaborating with introducers to contact existing clients for mortgage and protection policy reviews.
- Diving into a dynamic estate agency with over 60 property sales monthly.
- Developing your skills in whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice.
- Supporting a team of negotiators in delivering regulated advice on mortgages and protection products.
- Leveraging fresh leads and the company’s existing client database.
- Aiming for 8 first appointments each week and assisting with 2 mortgages, with an average case size of £2,500, including the broker, proc fee, and life insurance.
Essential Skills: To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Enthusiasm and a keen interest in the mortgage industry.
- Previous sales experience.
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- No criminal convictions
- Full clean driving licence
