Overview:
A well-respected national mortgage broker firm based, is seeking an experienced mortgage area director to manage an existing team of 8-10 fully qualified self-supported home-based mortgage brokers as well as recruit additional brokers to join the team in the Gloucestershire area.
Main Duties:
A mortgage area director is required to work from home in the Gloucestershire area supervising a team of 8 – 10 experienced whole of market mortgage and protection brokers ensuring that they have the support and guidance to achieve their financial goals and carry out training and development.
Working closely with the financial services director as a mortgage area director you will mentor, coach, and support the existing team of mortgage brokers as well as recruit additional mortgage brokers and mortgage advisers to cover various locations in the Gloucestershire area.
As well as supporting the existing team of mortgage brokers you will be required to recruit additional experienced mortgage brokers to your team, using social media, a dedicated recruitment team, referrals as well as any other source that you deem suitable.
As well as recruiting experienced mortgage brokers to join the team, as an experienced mortgage area director living in the Gloucestershire area, you will also be required to carry out observations; one-to-one’s along with analysing KPI figures ensuring that the mortgage brokers are achieving their targets.
Due to modern technology, the reviews with your team of experienced mortgage brokers, can be carried out via zoom, teams, and telephone, in order to utilise your team as well as the mortgage brokers time valuable time.
Working with your team of mortgage brokers, as the mortgage area director, you will help them achieve their business goals, including finding new clients, professional introducers as well as helping them find additional staff.
Our client will offer a basic to £50,0000 plus financial guarantees to £75,000 plus BMW 4 series or car allowance, commission on all business banked, and bonuses dependent upon file quality that equates to an OTE of £80,000 – £120,000
Key Skills:
Applications will be considered from experienced mortgage sales managers with previous mortgage management experience. The ability to recruit additional brokers would be a distinct advantage
