Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 basic, OTE £60,000

Currently, we are representing a prestigious financial services firm based in Romford, seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview: As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert mortgage advice to clients, guiding them through the process of securing the most suitable mortgage products tailored to their individual needs and financial circumstances. Your primary objective will be to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mortgage consultations with clients to assess their financial situation and objectives.
- Offer expert advice on mortgage products, including repayment options, interest rates, and associated fees.
- Analyze clients’ financial documents, such as income statements and credit reports, to determine eligibility for mortgage loans.
- Provide clear explanations of mortgage terms and conditions, ensuring clients have a thorough understanding of their obligations.
- Collaborate with lenders and underwriters to facilitate the mortgage application process and negotiate favorable terms on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Actively promote additional financial products and services offered by the company to meet clients’ broader financial needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong sales acumen and a track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with mortgage sourcing software and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
Benefits: In addition to a competitive basic salary of £29,000 – £31,000, the successful candidate will enjoy a range of attractive benefits, including a company car or car allowance, 33 days holiday per year, and the opportunity to earn an OTE of £60,000 based on performance.
