Job Title: Mortgage Administrator (London – 6 months, then Dubai)
Location: London, UK (Initially); Dubai, UAE (Full Time)
Remuneration: Basic salary up to £35,000
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Mortgage Administrator to join our client’s mortgage administration team in London for a period of up to 6 months before transitioning to our office in Dubai full time. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the mortgage industry in a vibrant and fast-paced environment in London, followed by a permanent move to Dubai.
Main Duties:
- Support Mortgage Advisors: Assist mortgage advisors with administrative tasks such as preparing client files, collecting required documentation, and inputting data into the system.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on mortgage applications, and answer queries.
- Communication: Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and valuers to progress applications efficiently.
- Application Processing: Ensure all mortgage applications are accurately completed and submitted within specified timelines, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date mortgage files electronically and physically.
- Coordination: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups between clients, mortgage advisors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative processes comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Transition to Dubai: Prepare for the transition to the Dubai office by familiarizing yourself with local regulations, procedures, and market dynamics.
Key Skills:
- Administrative Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of mortgage processes and terminology is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive client information and financial documents.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and procedures, especially during the transition from London to Dubai.
- Knowledge of Mortgage Processes: Basic understanding of mortgage processes and terminology is desirable but not essential.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
