£35,000 – £50,000 basic, plus car/car allowance, financial guarantees to £70,000 for 6 months, override on the team performance with OTE £80,000 in year 1, £90,000 plus year 2
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mortgage sales manager to join well-respected mortgage brokers to supervise an existing team of 10 – 12 employed HNW estate agency-based whole of market mortgage advisors as well as recruiting additional mortgage brokers to the team.
Main Duties:
- An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced mortgage sales manager to supervise a team of HNW estate agency-based mortgage and protection brokers in and around the Central London area.
- You will be managing an existing team of 10 – 12 HNW estate agency-based mortgage and protection brokers, working closely with the financial services director you will mentor, coach, and train the existing team of brokers as well as recruiting additional brokers to cover various locations.
- As an experienced mortgage sales manager, you will develop the established team of mortgage advisors to achieve their personal business objectives and specific performance and quality standards set by the company.
- You will recruit for, manage and develop a team of mortgage & protection consultants of varied experience, across a number of successful London offices.
- You will be financially rewarded for your team’s success in exceeding sales targets in line with the normal mortgage managers remuneration scheme.
- Working closely with estate agency colleagues to ensure a consistent approach is adopted in respect of business development activities, ensuring that first appointment volumes are delivered in line with the business plans.
- You will carry out observations; one to one’s along with analysing KPI figures ensuring that the brokers are achieving targets set.
- Leading by example, you will demonstrate sound judgement, commercial awareness and be able to create a sense of pride within your team.
- You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day detail around target setting and sales performance, whilst delivering longer term sales forecasts and attraction/retention plans to senior managers within the business.
- Our client will offer a basic to £50,000 plus a car or car allowance, and an OTE of £80,000 – £90,000.
Key Skills:
- As you will be the mortgage sales manager supervising an established team of HNW and successful mortgage advisors, the relevant mortgage qualification, either CeMAP or CF1 & CF6 is essential.
- A proven track record of being a sales leader with mortgage services, ideally within an estate agency environment, however, bank-based mortgage sales managers may be considered.
- Experience in leading, developing, motivating, and influencing sales people in a customer facing environment.
- An excellent knowledge of financial services core products i.e. mortgages life assurance, critical illness, income protection and buildings and contents insurance.
- It would suit an existing mortgage sales manager living in or willing to commute to the central and North London area.
