Overview:
A rare opportunity for a Mandarin speaking mortgage advisor to join an independently owned mortgage brokers who possess strong links with estate agents and new build developers in and around the UK require. Due to expansion additional experienced Mandarin speaking mortgage advisors or mortgage brokers or mortgage advisers are required to join their existing team of mortgage brokers in the Gateshead office, dealing with overseas buyers and property investors, where you will be able to submit 10 – 15 mortgage applications a month.
Main Duties:
Due to the property market and expansion plans our client who is an independently owned mortgage broker firm, requires Mandarin speaking experienced mortgage advisors or mortgage brokers or mortgage advisers to work with an existing team, dealing with overseas buyers as well as property investors.
Our client has seen an increase in Mandarin speaking clients, and as such are now looking for experienced mortgage advisors or mortgage brokers or mortgage advisers, to deal with the clients in professional manner, offering whole of market mortgage advice.
Working with the existing team of mortgage brokers, there is plenty of support available to ensure that you provide mortgage and protection advice working from the Gateshead office.
Our client has links with various introducers throughout the UK including estate agents, property developers, new build sites as well as other professional introducers.
As an experienced Mandarin speaking mortgage advisor or mortgage broker, you will carry out in depth and detailed fact finds with the new clients and source a suitable mortgage product, meeting their needs and requirements.
You will offer whole of market mortgage advice and refer the protection business to the dedicated experienced team of protection brokers.
Not only will all the leads be provided, but so will full administrative support. Once the client has accepted your mortgage proposal, all the files will be passed to the new business team who will process the new business and chase any outstanding information.
This will enable you to deal with each new client in a professional and timely manner.
Based on the time available due to the slick operation of my client you should be able to complete 10 – 15 mortgage cases per month generating an additional £7,000 – £10,000 per annum.
Key Skills:
As a mortgage advisor dealing with overseas buyers and property investors, it is essential that you are able to communicate in Mandarin, along with previous mortgage advisor experience.
As an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker, it is essential that you hold the full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) along with competent adviser status (CAS) and have a good track record of providing advice on mortgages.
Ideally you will have worked with professional introducers including estate agents and previously dealt with new build mortgages.
You should also be ambitious, highly driven, goal orientated, highly personable and presentable and be able to generate activity from a selection of introducers.
Applications will be considered from mortgage brokers, mortgage advisers, bank-based mortgage advisers who are fluent in Mandarin.
