Overview:
An established directly authorised Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) firm based in the Thames Ditton area and who has been established for over 20 years, requires an experienced mortgage administrator to join the close-knit team, offering day to day mortgage administration for all mortgage clients and processing mortgage cases as well as liaising with lenders and clients directly.
Main Duties:
Working with this directly authorised Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm based in the Thames Ditton area, as an experienced mortgage administrator, you will offer mortgage administrative support to the whole of market mortgage and protection brokers.
The currently team of mortgage brokers are generating 15 – 20 new mortgage cases per month. As an experienced mortgage administrator you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration for all mortgage clients and processing mortgage cases and liaise with lenders and clients directly.
As well as dealing with all new mortgage business, you will assist the mortgage brokers in sourcing suitable mortgages, researching the various lenders and the clients affordability. Also providing key facts illustrations in advance of client meetings.
Acting as the first point of contact to the clients, lenders, insurance companies, and solicitors, ensuring that all parties are aware of the mortgage applications.
As a mortgage administrator, you will ensure compliance with FCA and company compliance procedures, submitting applications with relevant money laundering requirements and any other supporting documentation.
Key Skills:
Applications will only be considered from experienced mortgage administrators or mortgage brokers who are looking to move to an administrative role.
Knowledge of the various mortgage lenders portals would also be an advantage. IT literate with good keyboard skills, along with an excellent telephone manner is also essential.
