Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career journey in the financial services industry? We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our client as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Merthyr Tydfil. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone passionate about finance and customer service, offering comprehensive training and support to become a successful Mortgage Advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in providing tailored mortgage advice and solutions to clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their financial aspirations.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine client eligibility and needs.
- Research and recommend suitable mortgage products from a panel of lenders.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to facilitate successful transactions.
- Provide ongoing communication and updates to clients.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and objectives.
- Actively participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- CeMAP 1 (or equivalent) qualification is essential.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a financial or customer service role.
- Clean credit history.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ambitious and eager to learn and develop within the financial services industry.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £20,000, with financial guarantees to £29,000 for the first 5 months, inclusive of car allowance.
