Remuneration:
Basic to £50,000 plus car allowance, financial guarantees to £65,000 for 6 months, pension, life assurance, OTE £80,000 – £90,000
Overview:
A renowned mortgage brokerage firm is seeking an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of 10-12 estate agency-based mortgage brokers in the East Midlands region, including Leicester, Nottingham, and Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving sales and fostering a culture of excellence within a team setting.
Main Duties:
- Oversee and manage the performance of an estate agency-based mortgage and protection brokerage team
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to individual brokers, ensuring they achieve their targets and maintain high standards of service
- Cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional development and innovation
- Identify and recruit new brokers to expand the team and meet growing demand
- Conduct regular observations, one-on-one meetings, and KPI analyses to assess individual performance and track team progress
- Collaborate with the Financial Services Director to implement effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage market, products, and lender policies
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Sales Manager with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Expertise in managing and motivating a team of mortgage brokers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with brokers and effectively address their concerns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve performance issues
- Strategic thinking and decision-making skills to implement effective sales strategies
- A passion for the mortgage industry and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
- CeMAP (Certified Mortgage Adviser Professional) qualification is highly desirable
