Overview:
A well-respected national mortgage broker firm is seeking an experienced mortgage sales manager to motivate and support an existing team of 30-40 fully qualified self-supported home-based mortgage brokers in the Berkshire area.
Main Duties:
A mortgage sales manager is required to work from home in the Berkshire and surrounding areas, to motivate, support and assist a team of 30 – 40 self-employed mortgage and protection brokers.
Working closely with the mortgage area director, as an experienced mortgage sales manager you will be required to offer full support to an existing team of 30 – 40 self-employed mortgage brokers.
The team of mortgage brokers range from new entrants to the industry to experienced self-supporting mortgage brokers. Working with the team, as a mortgage sakes manager you will offer the brokers as much or as little support as they require.
Some of the things that you may help the mortgage brokers with, is generating new clients and new introducers, marketing ideas, increasing life penetration, as well as coaching and development any gaps in their knowledge.
Our client offers the self-employed mortgage brokers the opportunity to also offer advice on other areas of mortgage business, including equity release, bridging and commercial borrowing.
As an experienced mortgage sales manager, you will help them identify other areas of financial planning that may be suitable for their clients, including pensions and investments, where the mortgage broker will receive a referral fee.
Due to modern technology, the reviews and business meetings with your team of experienced mortgage brokers, can be carried out via zoom, teams, and telephone, in order to utilise your team as well as the mortgage brokers time valuable time.
Our client will offer a basic to £40,0000 plus financial guarantees to £50,000 plus BMW 4 series or car allowance, commission on all business banked, and bonuses dependent upon file quality that equates to an OTE of £60,000 – £90,000
Key Skills:
Applications will be considered from experienced mortgage sales managers with previous mortgage management experience. A track record of developing a team of mortgage brokers would be a distinct advantage.
