Remuneration:
£24,000 – £28,000 basic, plus car/car allowance, financial guarantees to £45,000 for 5 months, pension, DIS, bonus & commission – OTE £45,000 year 1, £70,000 thereafter
Overview:
A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to offer mortgage and protection advice working from a busy office with a market leading estate agency in the Welwyn Garden City and Abbots Langley area dealing with mortgages up to £2m with an average property value of £450k, where the mortgage and protection broker should bank £140k – £160k giving an earnings potential of £75,000 plus.
Main Duties:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to work with one of the UK’s best known estate agency brands, working closely with the Welwyn Garden City and Abbots Langley branches.
These busy estate agency branches will refer the mortgage broker or mortgage adviser in Welwyn Garden City and Abbots Langley offices 7-10 new mortgage appointments per week.
As well as receiving new mortgage leads on a daily basis, the branches will offer the opportunity for an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to contact the existing client base a remortgage service.
Based on averages the branches will offer an experienced mortgage broker or mortgages adviser to bank over £150k per annum, offering earnings potential of £75,000.
These 2 branches are currently averaging an average case size of £2,500, offering an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser the opportunity to earn £250 per case, rising to £500.
Key Skills:
As you will be the sole mortgage broker or mortgage adviser working within the Welwyn Garden City and Abbots Langley branches, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environment if they can show a good track record in mortgage sales, if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification along with CAS has been attained.
Along with previous mortgage experience, a clean credit history, no criminal convictions and a full uk driving licence is essential for this role.
Summary:
