£22k – £27k basic, plus car/car allowance, OTE £45k in year 1 – £65k plus thereafter
Overview:
Unlike other estate agency roles our client is encouraging the Mortgage Brokers to concentrate on the quality of appointments not the quantity, providing 6-8 mortgages are written per month the mortgage broker can benefit from an excellent work/life balance and earn £45k plus.
Main Duties:
Bryn McMillan Consulting has been retained by a well-known estate agency chain to source an experienced mortgage and protection broker to concentrate on meeting quality appointments rather than filling your diary with pointless appointments. Our client is looking for a broker to write 2-3 mortgages a week giving the broker an excellent work/life balance.
Covering one of the busy branches in the Bristol area you will alongside a sale focused team of negotiators and provide regulated advice on both mortgages and the associated protection products. As well as receiving fresh leads from the team on a regular basis, you will also have access to the company’s database of existing clients. Not only are qualified leads referred over, but you will also have at your disposal 00’s of different mortgage products and competitive protection policies.
The branches average 10-12 1st appointments per week with an average loan size of £300k in one branch giving an average case size of over £2,000 giving a minimum bonus of £200 per case.
Key Skills:
As you will be the sole mortgage broker/adviser working within the branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environment providing that they can show a good track record in mortgage sales, if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification has been attained.
