£24k – £28k basic, plus guarantees for 4 months, £3k car allowance or car, pension. DIS, bonus & commission, OTE £50k in year 1 – £85k plus thereafter
Overview:
A well respected and very well-known estate agency with offices throughout the UK requires an experienced mortgage broker or bank based mortgage adviser to offer mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients in the Ashford, Kent area.
Main Duties:
Bryn McMillan Consulting has been retained by a well-known estate agency chain to source an experienced a mortgage and protection broker or adviser to concentrate on meeting quality appointments rather than filling your diary with pointless appointments. Our client is looking for a broker to write 2-3 mortgages a week giving the broker an excellent work/life balance.
A rare and excellent opportunity has arisen due to the increase in property sales in the Ashford, Kent office for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker/adviser to join part of a group that includes the largest and most successful independent estate agency group in the UK.
My client has an extremely healthy panel in terms of mortgage Lenders as well as a good range of life companies to enable the successful mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to offer advice on mortgage related protection business including life, life and critical illness, income protection, ASU as well as buildings and contents.
As well as offering a unique access to the whole of market, you will also be able to earn nearly 50% of business banked once you have achieved £100k of business, including proc and broker fee, life banking’s, critical illness, and other business.
Covering the busy branch, you will alongside a sales focused team of negotiators and provides regulated advice on both mortgages and the associated protection products. As well as receiving fresh leads from the team on a regular basis, you will also have access to the company’s database of existing clients. Not only are qualified leads referred over, but you will also have at your disposal 00’s of different mortgage products and competitive protection policies.
Our client also offers an excellent commission structure with no threshold and a different commission for the various products at your disposal including ASU, term assurance and B&C.
On top of a competitive basic ranging from £24,000 – £28,000 and a £3k car allowance our client offers an excellent commission structure with no validation level paying on every piece of business banked
Key Skills:
As you will be the sole mortgage broker/adviser working within the branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, independent, or banking mortgage environment providing that they can show a good track record in mortgage sales, if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification has been attained.
