About Our Client:
Our client is a leading wealth management firm in Stockton, providing comprehensive financial services to individuals and businesses. With a strong reputation for professionalism and customer-centricity, they are seeking an experienced mortgage advisor to join their team.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to take over a substantial client base of 400-500 loyal individuals, providing ongoing mortgage advice and guidance. You will also be responsible for generating new leads through various channels, including the wealth division, marketing, and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert mortgage advice and guidance to a loyal client base of 400-500 individuals.
- Manage and grow your own client portfolio through referrals and proactive lead generation.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and eligibility for mortgages.
- Research and compare mortgage products from various lenders to find the most suitable options.
- Negotiate with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favourable rates and terms.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of paperwork.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the entire mortgage process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a mortgage advisor or broker with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience
- Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent along with competent adviser status (CAS)
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with mortgage products, regulations, and industry trends
- Experience with handling HNW clients is a plus.
