£24,000 – £28,000 basic, plus car or allowance, OTE £50,000 year 1, £75,000 year 2 onwards
Overview:
A well-established estate agency is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join their team in the bustling Leytonstone office. With an average mortgage value of £500k and a property turnover of nearly 200 per month, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in the local market.
Main Duties:
- Provide expert mortgage advice to prospective homeowners and landlords, tailoring solutions to their individual needs and financial circumstances
- Assess and evaluate client’s financial profiles to determine their borrowing capacity and potential mortgage options
- Negotiate and secure the best possible mortgage deals from a wide range of lenders, ensuring clients receive competitive rates and terms
- Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey
- Advise on various protection products, such as life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection, to safeguard clients’ financial future
- Build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty to enhance customer satisfaction
Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the UK mortgage market, including products, interest rates, and lender policies
- Thorough understanding of mortgage qualification criteria and affordability calculations
- Proven ability to assess risk and identify potential issues that could affect mortgage eligibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and address their queries effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently
- Adherence to strict deadlines and a commitment to meeting client expectations
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential
