Overview:
A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage advisor to offer mortgage and protection advice working from a busy office with a market leading estate agency in the Lincoln area dealing with mortgages up to £650k, an average property value of £210k, and where 135 properties are sold per month, based on averages the ability to bank £150k per annum resulting in earnings of £75k is a realistic opportunity.
Main Duties:
- As an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker, you will be working alongside a team of financially incentivised team of estate agency staff, who will refer over 7- 10 new mortgage leads a week.
- As well as receiving new mortgage leads, as an experienced mortgage advisor you will have full unlimited access to a largely untapped existing client base, where you will be able to offer a remortgage service.
- As well as receiving plenty of leads and access to clients, you will have hundreds of mortgage lenders at your disposal to be able to offer whole of market advice, as well as a very strong panel of protection providers.
- In the Lincoln area, the average property size is £213,000 and on average 135 properties are sold per month. With these property sizes as well as number of sales, as an experienced mortgage advisor, you would be looking to write 2-3 mortgages a month, this in return will offer £250 to 600 per case, as our client offers a competitive commission sliding scale.
Key Skills:
- Due to the activity of the branch, previous experience in offering mortgage and protection advice is essential. Along with previous mortgage advice experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team is also advantageous.
- A clean credit and compliance history is also required, along with a full uk driving licence.
- Previous estate agency experience would be an advantage, however, applications will be considered from bank or building society-based mortgage advisors.

This mortgage advisor opportunity in Lincoln enables an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage advisor, to work in a team environment, receive 7 – 10 new mortgage leads a week, full access to an existing client base, an excellent basic salary, and a sliding commission scale ranging from 10% to 25%, with no validation level and high earnings potential.
