Overview:
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to work with an established mortgage broker firm in the Rochester, Kent area, with leads generated via 3 estate agency branches in the North Kent area, mortgage admin support and one of the highest commissions split offered in the industry.
Main Duties:
An opportunity has arisen for a fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker or mortgage adviser, or mortgage advisor to join our client who is a successful property company in the South East London and North Kent area and who has been trading for nearly 40 years.
Working from home as well as covering a handful of estate agency branches in the Medway and North Kent area, you will receive leads on a daily basis from one of the best-known estate agency brands.
Leads are generated via estate agency offices scattered around the Kent area, working from home as well as the North Kent estate agency offices, as an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser, in the Rochester and Medway area, you will be required to offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice.
Having access to the whole of the mortgage market in terms of mortgage advice and a panel of 8 life companies to enable you to offer advice on life, critical Illness, income protection, ASU as well as buildings and contents.
With such a range of products at your disposable your average case size including broker fee, procuration fee and life bankings is around £2,500 however top mortgage brokers have an average case size of £3,500.
Based on averages you should expect to earn £75,000 to £100,000 per annum.
Key Skills:
It is essential that you hold the full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) along with competent adviser status (CAS) and a track record of providing advice on mortgages and protection business.
Applications will be considered from experienced, mortgage brokers, mortgage advisers or mortgage advisors, who are disciplined and able to work from home and manage tehir diary.
Ideally you will have worked with professional introducers including estate agents and have the ability to work as art of a team.
You should also be ambitious, highly driven, goal orientated, highly personable and presentable and be able to generate activity from a selection of introducer offices.
You must also possess a good track record of offering advice in terms of protection business on the back of the mortgage advice provided.
Remuneration:
Our client offers a generous basic salary ranging from £25,000 – £35,000 with commissions paid on all business banked, plus one of the highest commission rates in the industry of 20% of all business banked
