Overview:
A rare opportunity for an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to join a national estate agency brand, working from home or an estate agency in the Nottingham area, with various estate agents feeding new mortgage leads weekly. These financial incentivised team of estate agents, will refer between 5 – 7 new mortgage leads a week, and as an experienced mortgage advisor you will be required to source 2-3 of your own mortgage leads.
Main Duties:
- Mortgage advisor vacancy covering the Nottingham area. Working alongside a team of estate agents on a hybrid basis you will receive 5-7 new mortgage leads a week, as well as having the opportunity to source 2-3 leads yourself.
- This financially incentivised team of introducers, require an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker who is going to act upon the new leads referred over in a professional and timely manner.
- In the Nottingham area, the average property size is £250k, however, you will be dealing with property values to £670k and based on a leading estate agency property site over 110 properties were sold in 2023.
- Working from home, you will deal with clients either face to face, virtually or via the telephone to meet the client’s needs and requirements.
- Due to the high quality of hot leads being referred over, as a mortgage advisor living in the Nottingham area, you should be able to write 2-3 mortgages a week, with an average case size of £2,750, based on averages, you will earn £275 to £680 per case including charging a broker, proc fee and life business.
- Not only does our client offer flexible working, a basic salary, plus leads, you will also have access to hundreds of mortgage offers and a strong panel for protection business.
- Even though this is a hybrid role, our client will require you as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to be available 2 our of 4 Saturdays, with a day off during the week in lieu, however, you will be able to work from home and manage your own diary.

Key Skills:
- As this mortgage advisor role requires professional mortgage advice, applications will only be considered from experienced mortgage advisors or mortgage brokers or mortgage advisers, who have a good track record of offering mortgage advice to new and existing clients as well as the mortgage related protection products.
- As well as having previous mortgage advice experience, ideally you will live within commuting distance of the Nottingham area, however this is not essential as the option to work from home is offered for the right mortgage broker or mortgage adviser.
- This opportunity is perfect for an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser who requires fresh leads on a day-to-day basis, the opportunity to manage their own diary including whether to be in the office or at home and who does not need or require constant supervision.
- As a mortgage broker or mortgage adviser in the Nottingham area, you must possess the mortgage qualification, either the CeMAP or MAQ or the CF1 and CF6.
- Along with the relevant mortgage qualification, a clean credit history, with no criminal convictions and a full driving licence is also required.
