Job Title: Home-Based Protection Advisor

Overview: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a diligent and experienced Protection Advisor to work remotely covering the West Midlands area. The successful candidate will join a reputable financial services firm, providing invaluable protection advice to clients from the comfort of their own home.
Main Duties:
- Working with a team of CeMAP qualified mortgage advisors, you will offer protection advice to new leads referred by the team.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ protection needs, offering tailored advice and solutions.
- Work remotely to engage with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing, ensuring effective communication and support. Build rapport with clients, understand their individual circumstances and financial goals, and asses their needs.
- Utilise expert knowledge of protection products to recommend suitable options for clients, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and more.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and recommendations in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery and maximize business opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Protection Advisor, preferably within a remote or home-based setting.
- In-depth knowledge of protection products and the ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable advice.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients remotely.
- Confident and persuasive sales approach with a focus in client needs and satisfaction.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable utilising technology and CRM systems for lead generation, communication, and case management.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a home-based environment.
- R05 or equivalent qualification is essential.
