Overview:
Part time mortgage broker vacancy in Luton, for an experienced, fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified mortgage advisor or mortgage broker or mortgage adviser, where you will receive 3 – 4 mortgage leads a day, working weekends as well as evenings or to suit your own personal situation.
Main Duties:
Working with a very well established independently owned mortgage broker firm, as a hybrid part time mortgage advisor, you will receive new leads via various introducers, including local estate agents, and new build developers.
Working around your own personal situation including weekends, you will receive 3-4 new mortgage leads per day, working from home, you will deal with clients over the telephone or via zoom and/or teams, what ever suits the clients’ requirements.
Dealing with these new mortgage leads in a professional and timely manner, you will offer whole of market advice on mortgages, refer the protection to the relevant specialist team and receive mortgage administration support, to ensure that your valuable time can be spent talking to clients rather than chasing documentation.
Working with the existing team of mortgage brokers, our client receives new quality leads on a day-to-day basis, from various sources, including new builders, property developers, referrals, an existing loyal client bank and a professional introducer.
Based on averages the team are receiving between 20 – 30 high quality leads per week (5-6 a day), as a part time home and office based mortgage advisor, you will offer the new or existing client whole of market mortgage advice.
Flexible working, with leads and admin support is provided enabling you as an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to concentrate on offering advice to the clients.
Working on a part time basis, to fit in around your personal situation including weekends, this company offers a common sense and grown-up attitude to the experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser.
Based on averages you will be dealing with an average mortgage loan size of £230k and proc fee of £900 and should be looking to write 7 – 15 new mortgage cases per month, where you will receive a percentage with no validation level, offering earnings of £35k plus!!
Key Skills:
This role would suit an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker who is looking to work on a part time basis to fit in and around their personal situation, our client requires someone with previous mortgage advice experience, who can deal with new clients and leads in a timely manner.
The full mortgage qualification is required, along with previous mortgage advice experience. Applications will be considered from mortgage advisors or mortgage brokers who have left the industry and would like to return but is unable to meet the full time criteria.
Our client will offer training to build up your knowledge of the industry, along with constant support.
Disciplined, committed and motivated are also key attributes for this role, applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environment if you can show the determination to succeed.
A clean credit history, with no complaints, criminal convictions is also essential.
Summary:
Part time home and office based mortgage advisor or mortgage broker who is either looking to get back into the financial services industry, or due to personal circumstances, is looking to step back and work on a part time basis.
Our client will offer a salary, all leads, flexible working, mortgage administration support and the opportunity to earn over £40,000.
