Overview:
Due to the success of 2022 and the expansion of the mortgage broker team, an experienced mortgage sales manager is required to mentor, supervise an existing team of telephone-based mortgage and protection brokers in the Medway area.
Main Duties:
Due to the expansion of the existing office-based mortgage and protection team, a rare opportunity for an experienced mortgage sales manager to join a very well-established mortgage broker firm in the Medway area, supervising a team of telephone-based mortgage broker.
Working closely with the existing team of telephone-based mortgage and protection brokers in the Medway area, you will lead and manage the team of mortgage professionals, to achieve their personal and provide coaching and support through regular observations.
As a mortgage sales manager, you will provide coaching and support through regular observations, offering positive and constructive feedback to the team.
Through your observations, you will help upskill individuals to confidently deliver the right outcome for our customers. Via the positive feedback, you will encourage individuals to nurture and help our customers throughout their journey.
Carrying out regular business review meetings with all individuals in the team, you will implement and manage development and action plans with individuals.
Support and encourage good working relationships with all other areas of the business, you will motivate the team to achieve great results.
Liaising with your line manager to ensure maximisation of opportunities, you will be responsible for own business productivity.
Key Skills:
As this is a mortgage sales manager position working in the Medway area, previous sales management experience is essential.
The full CeMAP or equivalent and the ability to motivate and inspire others, as well as a proven background in mortgage advice and sales is also required, along with excellent communication skills both written and orally, with a strong work ethic.
