Overview:
A well-known independently owned estate agency requires an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to offer mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in the Gravesend office dealing with mortgages up to £650k, with an average property value of £350k.
Main Duties:
Working in this busy estate agency office in Dagenham, as an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser, you will receive 8-10 new mortgage appointments per week, dealing with properties up to £750k and an average loan size of £350k.
As well as receiving new mortgage leads daily, you will also have unlimited and unrestricted access to the Gravesend existing client database, where as an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser you will be able to offer a remortgage service, to ensure that the clients are receiving the best possible mortgage advice.
The Gravesend estate agency office has a substantial client base, registered on average over 130 new applicants per month, and over 22 property offers per month.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to receive a high basic to £40,000 including car allowance and dependent upon experience.
As well as one of the best salaries around for a mortgage broker, plus once you have banked over £150,000, you will receive 50% commission.
The average case is currently £1,900, however for an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser in the Gravesend area, with a higher conversion rate for protection business, the average case will rise to around £2,500, which will equate to commissions of £375 per case.
As well as receiving commission on all business banked you will also receive additional bonuses dependent upon performance for high protection and buildings and contents conversions, solicitors’ referrals.
Key Skills:
As an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser working in the busy Gravesend estate agency office, you must be fully CeMAP qualified and have a good working knowledge of mortgage and the associated protection policies.
Being a team player is paramount for this role, to work closely with the financially incentivised team, helping them refer clients and leads over.
This role would suit an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser who is pro-active and doesn’t mind contacting the existing client database.
Summary:

As the inhouse mortgage broker you will receive a basic to £40,000 including car allowance, uncapped bonuses and commissions with no validation, quarterly and annual bonuses, with an OTE of £75,000 – £90,000.
