We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client as a Mortgage Advisor, working in partnership with a busy estate agency in Newport. This role offers an exciting opportunity to excel in mortgage advisory services while enjoying the benefits of a supportive team and a competitive salary package.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert mortgage advice to clients referred by the estate agency.
- Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and financial situations.
- Present suitable mortgage solutions tailored to individual client requirements.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
- Deal with an average property value of £230,000.
- Receive and manage 8-10 new mortgage leads per week from the estate agency.
- Over 100 properties sold in the Newport area per month
Requirements:
- Full CeMAP qualification is essential.
- Previous mortgage advice experience is required.
- Clean credit history.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £29,000, including car allowance.
- Financial guarantees rising to £35,000 for the first 6 months.
- OTE of £45,000 – £60,000.
