Overview:
An independently owned financial services firm based in Ongar, requires an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to take over a retiring mortgage advisors substantial client base of 400 – 500 individuals, as well as leads referred via other financial services departments in the company, internet leads, social media, marketing as well as access to the full extensive client base.
Main Duties:
Due to retirement of the existing protection advisor, our established financial services client requires an experienced fully qualified mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to deal with the extensive loyal client base of 400-500 clients, as well as handling leads generated via various sources, including the existing extensive client base, where a remortgage service and general mortgage advise is required, leads via the inhouse financial advisors who specialise in pensions and investments, the inhouse equity release advisors who’s clients are not eligible for equity release, their own website, marketing as well as referrals.
Due to how the clients have been serviced and nurtured over the past, our directly authorised client will allow home working and the flexibility to manage your own diary on a common sense basis.
As the experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker, you must live within an easy commute of the Ongar office to visit the office if and when you are required. However, you will be meeting and dealing with clients that ssuits their needs, including face to face, over the telephone, and virtually.
As a directly authorised mortgage advisor or mortgage broker you will have full access to hundreds of mortgage lenders and a strong panel in terms of protection business.
As well as reviving bonus and commission on completing mortgages and protection, as an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker, you will receive commission and bonuses on referring business to the pension and investment advisors, as well as the equity release advisor.
Key Skills:
As this is a hybrid mortgage advisor vacancy, it is essential that you hold the full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) along with competent adviser status (CAS) and have a good track record of providing advice on mortgages.
You should also be ambitious, highly driven, goal orientated, highly personable and presentable and be able to generate activity from a selection of introducers.
The ability to be able to work from home, manage your own diary, be able to visit clients in their homes if required, as well as the technical skills to deal with clients virtually.
Applications will be considered from mortgage brokers, mortgage advisers, bank-based mortgage advisers.
Excellent communication skills are also essential for this role, along with the confidence to contact existing clients to offer a remortgage service.
