Overview:
A well-known independently owned estate agency is offering a rare opportunity for a CeMAP 1 qualified individual to join their organisation working in the Loughton area as a trainee mortgage broker or trainee mortgage adviser, with a basic of £25,000 plus excellent earnings potential.
Main Duties:
Our client is a well-known independently owned estate agency and is offering a rare opportunity for a CeMAP 1 individual to join their organisation as a trainee mortgage broker or trainee mortgage adviser working in an established office in the Loughton area.
Working with this well-established estate agency brand in the Loughton area, as a trainee mortgage broker or trainee mortgage adviser, you will receive a dedicated training course run by the mortgage network as well as the mortgage sales manager.
As a trainee mortgage broker or trainee mortgage adviser you will receive on-going training and 1:1 support to improve your knowledge and development.
From an early stage as the trainee mortgage broker, you will offer advice on general insurance and protection, before progressing to offer mortgage advice.
Working closely with the inhouse mortgage sales manager, you will work with the state agency team, promoting the mortgage and financial services business.
Customer car is essential for this role, ensuring that the clients are kept updated with the mortgage application.
Mortgage appointments are generated via the estate agency staff, where as a trainee mortgage broker you will provide holistic advice on general insurance, mortgage and personal protection, working towards targets set
Key Skills:
To apply for this trainee mortgage broker or trainee mortgage adviser role in Loughton, the CeMAP 1 as a minimum must have been attained. Previously sales experience is also essential, ideally within a face-to-face environment, however, applications will be considered from trainee mortgage brokers in Loughton who have gained telephone sales experience.
Excellent communication skills, along attention to detail, with outstanding customer services experience would be advantageous.
A clean credit history, along with no criminal convictions, a full UK driving licence is also required.
