Salary: Up to £29,000 basic, including car allowance, financial guarantees to £45,000 for 6 months, OTE £55,000 in year 1, £75,000 plus thereafter.

Overview:
Bryn McMillan Consulting is currently recruiting for an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker on behalf of a well-known, award-winning local estate agency. The successful candidate will be based in the bustling Congleton office, providing mortgage and protection advice. Expectations include 10 first mortgage appointments per week, access to existing clients, and an OTE of £75,000.
Main Duties:
This is an excellent opportunity for a fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) Mortgage Advisor/Broker to join a reputable estate agency brand in Congleton. Responsibilities include attending 10 new mortgage leads weekly, utilising the existing client database for remortgage services, and handling an average property size of £260k (up to £750k). In addition to offering whole-of-market mortgage advice, candidates will advise on protection products, such as life assurance, critical illness, and income protection.
Based on average case sizes, successful candidates can expect a minimum additional monthly income of £2,700 on top of the generous basic salary, with the potential to write 3 mortgages per week.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of mortgages and products, along with CeMAP qualification (or equivalent). Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to engage with the existing warm client database. Applications are welcomed from individuals with a track record in mortgage sales, whether from a tied, independent, or banking mortgage environment, holding CeMAP, CF6, or MAQ qualifications.
While CAS would be advantageous, it’s not essential as the client provides excellent training and support. A clean credit history, no criminal convictions, and a full UK driver’s license are essential for this role.
