£21,000 – £25,000 basic, plus £3,000 car allowance, OTE £45k year 1, £50k year 2
Overview:
A well-known local estate agency with an excellent reputation requires an experienced mortgage broker to work with 2 busy estate agency branches in the Wallingford & North Cheam area, offering advice on mortgages and protection to the new and existing clients.
Main Duties:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP, CF1 and CF6 or MAQ qualified mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to join our client who is a very well-known local independently owned chain of estate agents. Working closely with the team of sales negotiators you will offer mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients.
You will provide advice to the company’s existing portfolio of clients as well as new clients generated via the estate agency branches. You will work closely with the front line sales team dealing with enquiries that they refer over, as well as having the luxury of receiving fresh leads you will also have access to the company’s existing client database, to review not just their mortgages but also to review the various protection policies including Life, Critical Illness, ASU, Buildings and Contents, offering suitable and appropriate advice to the clients.
You will have access to the whole of market in terms of mortgages and protection giving the successful mortgage broker the advantage over the competition.
The branches will generate at least 10 first appointments per week and have an average loan size of £300k and the case size is £1,750 – £2,000 giving excellent on target earnings
Key Skills:
As you will be the sole mortgage broker/adviser working within the branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, independent, or banking mortgage environment if they can show a good track record in mortgage sales, if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification along with CAS has been attained.
