Remuneration:

Overview:

A very well-established IFA practice that has offices throughout the UK require an experienced IFA administrator to work alongside the team of diploma qualified wealth advisers offering full administrative support.

Main Duties:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced IFA administrator to join a very well-established national firm of IFA’s in the Swanley office offering full administrative support to the team of diploma qualified IFA’s.

Working closely with the team of IFA’s you will support the sales and giving advice to private clients as well as all system-based administration and client liaison work.

You will be required to provide analysis, monitoring and reporting, as required, in respect of investment valuation reports including SIPP drawdown analysis, existing policy analysis and portfolios.

As well as offering full administrative support you will also be required to communicate with clients, providers where necessary, product research and diary management.

You will offer support services ensuring that 100% compliance with the FCA regulations on the conducts of business and 100% compliance with the company’s internal administrative requirements.

You will be required to provide:

  • Accurate and efficient administration of both paper and system-based records, including email.
  • Production of standard Intelliflo report, including the scanning and documenting of these in paper and system form, within a time frame agreed with the Administration Manager and in line with the annual review service.
  • The accurate maintenance of filing of client records.
  • Production of reports and quarterly product/fund research reports, working in conjunction with the Administrator Manager and Paraplanner on a quarterly basis, as agreed within the review program, which will be your responsibility to arrange and ensure the deadlines are met, prioritising with Administration Manager as agreed.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the products and services that we offer and any regulatory or taxation rules which may affect the advice and to use continued professional development to keep this knowledge current and up to date.
  • A monthly task list to show the Administration Manager the work in progress and its current status.
  • Inputting, processing, resolving queries relating to all aspects of unit prices/administration of client’s investments and portfolio.
  • Submitting draft portfolio to Adviser within agreed timescale and diarising the return of the portfolio is delivered on time. Amending errors, if identified by the Adviser and finally binding document, delivering within agreed timescale.
  • Printing and reconciling valuations on Intelliflo and updating the system as required.
  • Dealing with internal and external telephone enquiries.
  • To provide cover for other members of the team.
  • To undertake special projects as required.

Key Skills:

Applications will only be considered from experienced IDFA administrators who possess at least 3 years’ experience offering financial services support within the IFA market.

You should possess excellent organisation, communication, and numeracy skills both written and oral. You should have the ability to work accurately under pressure of tight deadlines, as well as prioritising tasks and remain clam under pressure.

Knowledge of money laundering, data protection, is also essential.

Be adept at processing new and existing life and pension business including ISAs, Investment Bonds, OEICs, SIPPs and Trusts, entering all aspects of new business on Intelliflo, to include commission and also to ensure that where a transfer has taken place this is entered onto the Switch register.
